I am a licensed clinical psychologist offering psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families. I also provide psychological assessment services and consult to doctors on behavioral health issues such as chronic pain and fertility treatments.

I work with a wide range of clients and concerns, with my areas of specialty being:

* anxiety, stress, and tension
* depression
* relationship difficulties
* divorce
* chronic pain, sleep problems, and other behavioral health issues
* low self-esteem
* fertility-related problems
* trauma and grief

My style as a therapist is warm, respectful, and empathic, and I work to establish a strong collaborative alliance with my clients. I use both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, depending on the needs, goals, and preferences of my clients.

Education and Training Experiences: I received my B.S. from Harvard University and my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. I have worked with a wide variety of clients in a number of settings, including a student health services center, a large Veterans Administration hospital, and a chronic pain program. I participate actively in local psychological societies, consultation groups, and reading groups.
